Det kjøres mange parallelle løp i skolene og utdanningsinstitusjonene knyttet til økt satsing på realfagene. Men metoder, prosjektresultater, utredninger, materiell, ressurser, arenaer/nettverk og kompetanse blir ikke alltid delt og kommer ikke fram til alle. Realfalgsdatabasen.no koordinerer nå disse initiativene, samt sørger for at informasjon om tiltak og resultater blir spredt til de ulike skolene og utdanningsinstitusjonene.

Realfagsdatabasen.no er en oversikt over alle prosjekter som har fått RDA-midler fra Realfagsfondet i 2006 og 2007. Hvert prosjekt vil etter hvert utdypes med prosjektmål, aktuelle kontaktpersoner, erfaringer og evauleringer og andre prosjektdetaljer. Realfagsdatabasen administreres av Nordnorsk vitensenter.
